Welcome:Welcome to the Pole Creek Valley (PCV) website! This website was developed to help residents (and prospective residents!) of PCV stay informed about Home Owners' Association items. We hope by using the navigation tools provided that you will be able to learn about Pole Creek Valley.Pole Creek Valley is located in a scenic valley 8 miles from Winter Park, near the town of Tabernash. We feel very fortunate to be living in a place with friendly neighbors and spectacular views. To the East, we see the Continental Divide and Indian Peaks Wilderness Area; to the South, we see the ski runs at Winter Park Resort and to the West we see the sun set over Byers Peak, Bottle Peak and Ptarmigan Peak. In winter, we have abundant snow and in summer, wildflowers and native vegetation surround our homes.About Pole Creek Valley: This development was platted in 2000 with both single-family and multi-family residential lots. We have 40 acres of open space and a 9 acre lake for the use of property owners in the subdivision.Pole Creek Valley has 104 single family lots. Currently, there are over 60 single family homes either completed or under construction on lots ranging from apporximatley 0.25 to 1.0 acres.Pole Creek Vallley also has 2 townhome developments, Lakeside at Pole Creek (56 units) and Coyote Creek (123 units). The homes in these developments are generally duplex townhomes, with outside landscaping and maintenance provided by separate subassociations of the Master Pole Creek Valley Owners' Association. The main roads in our subdivision are maintained by Grand County. The subdivision has public water and sewer service provided by Tabernash Meadows Water and Sanitation District (TMWSD.com). Public utilities including Xcel, Mountain Parks Electric and Qwest serve Pole Creek Valley. The Pole Creek Valley Owners' Association has been active in providing amenities for our residents. In 2004 we completed a walking path around the lake. Our children and dogs enjoy romping along the trail. In 2008, a picnic pavilion was built alongside the lake complete with huge rustic logs. This pavilion includes a grill and picnic tables. It is located close to the lake on the walking path surrounded by open space. In 2009, we completed the picnic area with a large playground, basketball court and horseshoe pit. For the past two summers, residents have enjoyed chasing rainbow trout in our lake with fly or spinner. For more information about the PCVOA, please see the Contact Us page.
What's New:Your new PCVOA Board met immediately following the December 3, 2011 Annual Meeting and scheduled its first quarterly meeting for January 7, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at Mountain Chalet Management in Winter Park. The new Board decided to move the meeting to Saturday morning from Sunday evening to make it more accessible for more people. All owners are always welcome at all meetings, just let us know if you can if you are planning to attend a Board meeting so we can have sufficient space. Officers were determined for the Board for the coming year as follows: Paul Hamann, President; Bill Anderson, Vice President; Doug Oury, Secretary-Treasurer. We listened hard at the Annual Meeting and hope to do our parts to help achieve the goals Owners expressed for better communication, a sense of community, and more social opportunities like the informal visiting during the breaks in the Annual Meeting, among others. Watch the website for Board Updates like these. In addition, once we are certain all of PCV is good with direct email communications from the PCV Board ala Lakeside's suggestions, we will try the blast email approach to supplement formal communications. Thanks for the great turnout December 3 and Happy Holidays!
